Not really UFOs. They are the light standards on the Highway Of Heros (Hwy. 401). I took the photo in the early morning mist.

ABC Wednesday Letter "X" - Railway Crossing

This has to be the most common "X" in North America. It can be found at all level railway crossings. Over my career as a bus driver I had to stop my bus at everyone before crossing. If clear I was allowed to proceed.

King Of The Road

This guy and gal were supplying entertainment to the motorist. I was out for my exercise when I notice, up ahead traffic was coming to a complete stop. It took me about 4 minutes to walk up to the disturbance of public order. These two were walking back and forth on the road. Normally they will fly off or pickup speed crossing the road. Today they were playing King Of The Road. They got to one side then turned around and went back. It was very comical watching them.

Christmas Light Display

This is one of massive Christmas light displays in my neighbourhood. The owners were accepting donations for the Food Bank.

Bird Eat Bird

When I filled the bird feeders I noticed every once in awhile, patches of feathers scattered on the snow. I used think it was the fault of the local cats that roamed the neighbourhood. Then one day I spotted this guy having a meal.

Lifting Machines

Located on the expansion site of the Duffin Creek Water Pollution Control Plant. We used to call it a sewage treatment plant but now it's a politically correct world.

First Snow Storm 2009

The other day I viewed photowannabe photos on the unusual and unique snow fall in the Sacramento Valley. I decided when the first snow fall came to my neighbourhood that I would also take some photos. I did not have to wait long. This one here was taken 4:20 am and I wasn't even brave enough to step outside. I stuck my camera out the window and took 6 photos with this one being the one most appealing to me.

You can't see the water but it is about 200 feet to the right. The trail is located on the north shore of Lake Ontario.

I was walking across a pedestrian bridge when I looked over the edge and spotted the pine needles in the bright sunlight.

The Sparkling Boat

There was an interesting display of water reflecting on the side of this boat. The photo does not capture motion but the sparkles were shining with brilliant points of light like stars and giving a great dance performance.
