These remains exist on Frenchman's Bay. I don't know what they were used for. Was it a docking wharf or the remains of a ice harvest business? It's been almost century since ice harvest was discontinued.

Wild apples growing at my nephew's place.

Tyrone Mill

The Tyrone Mill is one of Canada's oldest water powered grist mills. The complex includes a saw mill, a cider mill and a flour mill. The best time to visit is on Saturday. You can find cider, doughnuts and baked goods. I am addicted to their baked scones. In this photo it was the two man saw hanging on the building that caught my eye.

ABC Wednesday Letter "C" - Cancer Donation

As you know cancer treatment often involves the loss of one's hair. My Granddaughter Camryn's hair was becoming very lengthily. She decided to have it cut and donate the removed portion to cancer victims. Of course I was there with there with my camera to record this proud moment.
