Tall Grass

This year's growing season turned out to be beyond what is usual. With an early warm spring, hot summer days and sufficient rain some things like this grass appeared to be in better health than previous years. The weather is in a changing mode.

Bike Marathon

Even though it's not one of my better photos I still had the urge to post the 125 kilometer bike marathon. I get a chuckle out of the fancy clothing and equipment that the modern day riders need. I belong to the "greatest generation" and the only equipment that we use was a pant clip.

Darth Vader

Why is Darth so happy? Perhaps he has heard the announcement by George Lucas that all six Star Wars live action feature films are coming to Blu-ray Disc. The box set, expected to arrive in the fourth quarter of 2011, will include never-before-seen deleted scenes.
