Barn Charm - Sitting Low
Taken from the closest roadway about 3/4 of a mile away. The black you see on top of the silo is a flock of pigeons. It was a cold day and they were taking advantage of the sun's rays to keep warm.
Pigeons know where to find warmth. Smart critters. Lovely pastoral scene, Andy. If I don't get another chance to say it, I'm wishing you and yours all the best of the holiday season!

What a cool shot this week. Love the way you captured the structures beneath all of the tall grasses...hay....or whatever that it. This is a wonderful capture which could easily be hanging on the wall in your home. LOvely. genie

Nice shot of roof profiles so typical of your country and unknown by us. Very nice Andy
ReplyDeleteLove this angle. Happy holidays to you!
ReplyDeleteGood shot Andy. If there is silage in the silo I expect it's also generating heat that would rise to the top.
ReplyDeleteThanks Wayne for the insight on silo heat.
ReplyDeletebeautiful the way it just peeks above the field!
ReplyDeleteLove your perspective. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteNeat shot of the barn, Andy! My barn this week was taken from a similar angle. Great minds! :))
