  1. It looks like an old cage from the middle ages to keep criminals at bay but if it feeds the birds I am okay with it.

  2. Our fine-feathered friends are voracious eaters and are breaking the bird seed bank this winter. Too cold for man nor beast and little birds as well!

    1. The squirrels used to raid my other bird feeder. I bought myself a feeder that shuts the feed door when something heavy sits on the perch. It saves me a bundle in bird seed.

  3. The suet is popular here, too. I even saw a cardinal eating it yesterday for the first time.

  4. I have one of these hanging in the tree in front of my house but, it takes the birds weeks to find it once it's been filled.

  5. I am to assume that the thingy sticking up high is a bird feeder. I've never seen such, but hey, whatever works. And feeding birds during the cold of the winter is a very good deal.

  6. I assume they're able to peck out bits when it's frozen solid. It's amazing that anything, especially small birds, can live outside in the kind of cold you're experiencing.

  7. It sounds like they're having a hard winter this year. You'd better put out extra suet!

  8. Andy what a great idea. Where did you get it at Canadian Tire store.

Oh how many people would love what you just said.

Now is that yours up in the air or just a snap of someone else's. I never ever seen that. Oh so high.
