I loved bowling years ago but haven't been on a lane in ages! Even have a couple of trophies from when I was a kid. ;-) Thanks for the link to the historical plaque site.
The bowling that was available in the North Shore of Boston, where I grew up, was candlestick, but ten pins (i.e., the fat pins) seems to have taken over just about everywhere else. I wonder if candlestick bowling is still practiced up there.
Great sign in a kind of disney style. I like it.
ReplyDeleteA funny inviting picture!
ReplyDeleteI agree with s.c., that sign does look like an ad for Disney movie.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very eye catching banner, great colors. We have a glow in the dark mini golf here, very cool and awesome colors!!
ReplyDeleteAn inviting advertisement, not to mention colorful. I used to bowl way back when. Not for about 40 years though.
ReplyDeleteQuite a vibrant design for the business. I've only bowled a couple of times as a kid.
ReplyDeleteWe had candlestick bowling years ago, perhaps no longer. Tom The Backroads Traveller

My first thought was: that's a very short bowling alley! Good to see bowling is still alive and well, and fun.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea, now I've got to go and google. (Seems like I am doing this almost every day now..I hope I'm not losing my smarts!)
ReplyDeleteCheerful advertisement. Eye catching.
ReplyDeleteMy SIGNS, SIGNS
Cute sign! The bowling pin appears to have a little devious expression on its face though.
ReplyDeleteLooks fun to me! :)
ReplyDeleteStands out.
ReplyDeleteSimple, colorful and funny!
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun!
