Winter Squirrel


With yesterday's snow storm a lot people took a snow day and stayed home. This poor guy can't afford to do that. In the animal kingdom, the struggle of survival continues every day. It's a never ending battle of searching for food and concealment from predators.

    That's one cold looking squirrel. Now if he could just remember where he buried all those nuts. Looks like he is asking for a handout.

    I really don't care for tree rats as we have this constant war going on over the bird feeders but I must say this is a great photo.
