Fighter Jet
The Canadian CT-133 Silver Star is only one of Allan Rubin's collection of vintage aircraft. This photo was taken in 2013 and since that time the entire collection of planes has been sold and shipped to San Diego, California.
This was the first two seat jet trainer for the air force. Other versions of this aircraft were used in the Korean War before the F86 Saber jet replaced them. Good to see your photo.
Impressive!
ReplyDeleteBut sad that we need to make weapons....
...a Canadian export?
ReplyDeleteI've never seen that model before. I like military aircraft, old and new.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful aircraft presented in a beautiful frame.
ReplyDeleteNice sky above that plane. Treathening and gloomy. Nice forebode of its fate.
ReplyDeleteI hope they went to a good home where people can enjoy seeing them. Seems a shame they had to leave.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pity to sell them all...:(
ReplyDeleteWhat a plane!
ReplyDeleteImpressive looking fighter jet. The sky and the plane work well together in your photo. Very nice indeed!
ReplyDeleteThat's too bad Andy!
ReplyDeleteMust be really interesting in planes.
ReplyDeletewow what a beauty!
ReplyDeleteLo has captado de un modo magnifico... Muy buena imagen
ReplyDeleteSaludos
It's always hard to date things that are designed to be efficient---- That one has seen some years go by.
