North American B-25J Mitchell

Archives 2017. Located at The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. In May of 1975, the Museum's B-25 Mitchell arrived at Hamilton Airport flown by Harry Kelly. Apparently, on the arrival pass, the bomb bay doors were opened and a load of watermelons were dropped. Airport officials weren't too impressed.

Joe's Scarecrows

Everyone should be able to recognize the two on the left. The one on the right is former Prime Minister of Canada, John Turner. Located on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia, Joe had a whole field of scarecrows in Halloween masks, arranged in lines and circles. Unfortunately the attraction has have been disassembled after the passing of Joe in 2011.

Rush Lane Bar

The bar’s two story facade is stenciled with a giant black and turquoise mural. The name and facade pay tribute to Queen St. West's network of graffiti alleys. I took the photo in 2017... but since then the Rush Lane closed for ever on January 27, 2019.

Leaving The Stairs To Nowhere Behind

We are finally leaving 2020 behind! The year was stacked with natural and man made disasters, economic and mental collapse, bleeding healthcare and the untimely and unnecessary deaths of hundreds of thousands. No wonder we are all waiting for the year to end and find some peace of mind that it will all be over soon and that 2021 will be better.
