Nice shot of a rural situation. Here in amsterdam they made appartments out of a grain elevator but I must admit it was a very big stone one.
I can see why. It would be wrong to lose that part of their history. Fine shot, Andy.
I'm glad the residents of Stouffville realize they have a treasure!
Too many elevators are being dismantled. I wish them luck saving this one.
These old grain elevators are historically and culturally significant buildings sometimes referred to as "the cathedrals of the plains." They are rapidly disappearing from South Dakota. Good to see this one survives.
I like stark shapes like this.
I like to keep things intact. Once gone, forever gone.
