Nice framing on this fine, old barn. We need to document barns as they are going away rather quickly. Few farmers keep dairy cattle any more, so there is little need for barns like this. They are being replaced by machine sheds in our part of the country, and our local dairies have become huge confinement operations with their own set of problems.
Its nice you have so much wood in your country that constructions like this are made. No trouble there.
ReplyDeleteWonderful foreground leading to a lovely barn ;-)
ReplyDeleteLovely sof colours, and I like how the picture is framed by the trees.
ReplyDeleteWhat is so cool about this photo is the door opens to the view of the tree behind the barn!!! Love it.

ReplyDeleteYou framed this one awesome!
ReplyDeleteI like it very much.
I love that you need only move barely 1km in one direction, and it's a whole another world...lovely barn.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a rather large barn. Love the setting!
ReplyDeleteOut in the country with easy access to the city --pretty nice (as long as they don't end up with a shopping mall next door).
ReplyDeleteNicely framed! I'll bet at one time this was a long ways out in the country.
ReplyDeleteLovely scene, though in another few years it will probably be condos!
ReplyDeleteI like the yellow colours, nice capture.
ReplyDeleteLove the composition of this shot. Very picturesque.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely barn! Andy, thanks for visiting my blog again. It was so good to see your comment!
