I'm stumped on that one. Re/Max restate has been around since the early 1970's and I can't find any relationship between the company and the Netherlands.
I never thought about the ReMax signs looking like the Dutch flag. Interesting. Poor old place. I saw lots of these in Richmond this past weekend driving to and from Buddy's marathon. It is so sad to see old buildings being deserted. Hope this one sells and it is fixed up. genie
AH, but the land would make such a "lovely" shopping mall or subdivision - especially if it's in York Region where e don't have enough of either. (said tongue-in-cheek.)
Looks not good at all. What is that dutch flag doing in the billboard?

ReplyDeleteJust needs a little paint...
ReplyDeleteMy hubby is Dutch Andy so he said perhaps the Realtor is Dutch and proud.
ReplyDeleteAye the world has changed. Look at the Muslims. They wear their Muslims Turks in canada.
Not even the police force bulk at them to wear them. So here is a dutch flag on a bill board.
Not really hurting anything. I dont think it was a mistake of identify.
You can say that again. Do you remember the movie of the same name? Funneee!
ReplyDeleteAh, thanks for the laugh! We've been looking at homes lately, all we've seen are money pits:)
ReplyDeleteIt's a ruin alright, though a developer would probably make a mint on it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like an interesting opportunity for someone with vision?

ReplyDeleteSo many investors used to look at it as an investment in the land rather than the building. Heaven knows if investors are still buying these days.
ReplyDeleteGood caption -- it sure would be (all houses are though actually ;>)
