I love the look you captured...very regal...and they are indeed. I love to visit our wildlife park here...it is a park for hurt and endangered animals.
Beautiful shot! I admit it was a surprise until I read where you were. I worked - briefly - at a private park that had two young cheetahs. It was amazing to watch the keepers walk them each morning before the park opened. They're gorgeous animals.
I could swear you were in Africa.
ReplyDeleteI'll take that as a complement. I wonder if the cheetah thinks the same thing?
DeleteGreat shot of the cheetah. Lays like your own cat in the garden waiting for a nice bite flying into his jaws.
ReplyDeleteA fine-looking creature. Did you pet the kitty? :-) Zoos are a lot of fun.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful creature and a terrific capture - if you hadn't said it was the zoo, I'd have thought you were on another continent!
ReplyDeleteThe cheetah looks calm, cool and collected!
ReplyDeleteCheetahs never prosper.. unless being photographed so beautifully by you.

ReplyDeleteit's odd to see such an animal sitting on typical grass. I hope s/he is not too bored!
