Slugging It Out
It was a chilly morning when I came across this guy struggling along the sidewalk. Most slugs do not hibernate over winter but die off in the autumn. I don't think this one will last to the end of the day.
It does appear a bit sluggish! Nice detail!
ReplyDeleteYes, he does look a little worn out!
ReplyDeleteMust be the phanter under the snails.
ReplyDeleteAww, didn't you just want to bring it inside and put it in a potted plant? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI feel a bit sluggish myself this morning.
ReplyDeleteBrain beat me to it....sluggish....a perfect description.
ReplyDeleteHe won't be out walking around today! ;-)
ReplyDeleteEnd of the line for him!
ReplyDeleteYou must have been on the ground to make this photo!
ReplyDeleteSurprised to see him still out and about.
ReplyDeleteAww poor Sluggo. Good catch, Andy.
ReplyDeleteThe archives are running low, eh?
ReplyDeleteThis was really test to see if anyone really cared about one lowly slug.
DeleteEW! Keep him away from my gardens, please!
