St. Marys Heritage Landmark
The water tower was built in 1899 and is a solid stone structure which is representative of other stone buildings erected during this period within the Town of St. Marys. It is one of the best examples of industrial architecture constructed during the turn of the century in Southwestern Ontario.
what a pretty water tower, i have never seen a pretty one. ours are all a big ugly ball on top of a big ugly tower. this is quite impressive and has held up very well!!!

I love this...we pass a few water towers on our trips to Illinois, my favorite is from 1956.
