Funny place for a tree. Is it still alive. No shortage for water then.
Yes... alive. This was a man made planting rather than nature takes it's course planting.
Let them roll in!
Wonderful waves and fantastic place to wait something.. :).
A bit amazing to see how big the tree managed to grow.. It's a lake so no salt water I suppose.
Lake Ontario.
Very clever pun! Plus I LOVE the tree and the rolling waves. Super photo.
Very nice! That treemust be feeling chilled!
Got a laugh out of your comment. This is obviously a tree species that does not drown easily. Is Lake Ontario rising?
It is a poplar tree. Yes... good old Lake Ontario.
A poplar tree! Could not have guessed. It seems to be sitting cross legged with it's back to the lake.
Exquisite! My eyes immediately catch the froth, the perfect horizon, and the different textures.
Funny guy. I do like the image.
Amazing that the tree still stands.
Brrrrrrr.... But I like it.
I hope you waved back.
Very funny!!
That is a great catch, Andy!
