I sat down beside Lady Lake to have a chat with her. All she did was wave at me.

      Yes... alive. This was a man made planting rather than nature takes it's course planting.

    A bit amazing to see how big the tree managed to grow.. It's a lake so no salt water I suppose.

    Got a laugh out of your comment. This is obviously a tree species that does not drown easily. Is Lake Ontario rising?

      It is a poplar tree. Yes... good old Lake Ontario.

      A poplar tree! Could not have guessed. It seems to be sitting cross legged with it's back to the lake.
