This walkway looks pretty safe for inattentive smart phone users! Yes, we appear to consume too much time on our devices. So much of social medial is garbage yet some of it is very valuable and can be helpful. Need balance, tho.
There's no question about our dependency on technology and there's no way we're going to get rid of it. But we sure as hell could put away the damn phones ...who needs to talk on the phone when walking down the street? The key word there is "needs". I used to love to go for a walk because no one could call me on the phone!
Oui, les risques sont grands de devenir trop dépendants de toute cette technologie pourtant si précieuse. La photo illustre bien la question. Ravie d'avoir découvert votre blog.
Technology aside, this is a wonderful shot. Shapes, colors, framing, everything! It's great. Too dependent? We're as dependent as we choose to be. Some people don't think enough to make sensible choices. I for one love having Google at my fingertips. But I also choose to regularly interact with real, live people. And set aside my phone for hours on end.
Nice shot Andy. Bit cropped I think.
ReplyDeleteI am afraid so, nobody is looking around anymore, only we the bloggers....
