| A massive ‘mini Las Vegas’ development is planned for the former corn field. Phase one... build a casino which will have 330,000 square feet of gaming space, with a hotel with 225 rooms and a concert venue. Phase two will include 150,000 square feet of restaurants or food offerings, a luxury retail wing of about 30,000 square feet, another hotel with 350 rooms and with a convention centre anticipated to be more than 100,000 square feet, and 250,000 square feet of film studios. I will be keeping track of the project as the construction progresses. |
...I will never understand all these casinos.
ReplyDeleteGreat clouds! Too bad about the field, but progress, right?
ReplyDeleteI like construction cranes but I don't like construction sites. On the other hand, when they are intended to give good things, I am for. I like your construction crane
ReplyDeleteWhere is this Andy? Pickering?
ReplyDeleteI don't get the casino fixation.
ReplyDeletewow sounds like it's going to be quite a huge area that's being built. Can't say I've ever been to a casino though.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, some casino. Farmer must have received a hefty sum for his land.
ReplyDeleteOMG, not something to look forward to....
ReplyDeleteI can't say I'd welcome all that. And I'm sure everyone's being told how many jobs it will bring to the cornfield.
ReplyDeleteLast time all kinds of strange messages are coming from Canada. But it is as always how to make more money of a piece of land or whatever it is.
ReplyDeleteI feel sad about this it only make the poor people more poor and kills off the land.
