My grandmother had one and did my mother.
My Mom had one of these but it was not electric. It had a gas motor because we didn't have electricity.
There was one of those in the basement of a house we rented in Lincoln, Nebraska. Used it for several years, and it worked just fine. The clothes line was in the back yard.
that's a neat wringer washing machine, I remember my mother having one.
Maytag and Speedqueen (Also under the Wards brand) made them until the early 1980s.
An old washing machine with a wringer to get the water out of the laundry!
