Hard to believe people just drop their trash in the streets, but it does happen almost everywhere. The state of Iowa passed law requiring a $.05 deposit on pop cans and bottles. They almost instantly disappear from the environment. Store owners hated the law, everyone else loved it.
Yes it is a real plague, but they are going to introduce deposit for cans here too and hopefully that will help.By the way, another great vantage point for this photo Andy.
