I have some memories of days like that.
Your photograph reminds me of Edward Hopper's painting, Nighthawks. It has the same lonely feeling.
I'd never seen a Tim Horton's before, so now this image is my introduction to the restaurant. I do like wet pavement with lights reflected on it.
The better night shot and indeed it has a bit of a Hopper as TFG says.
Looks a mess then. Looked up Tom Hortons as never heard of it...interesting and the night shot is looking good.
