Monday Night

A freight train was passing on the far side and the passenger train had come to a dead stop. I am standing close to the road so I got lots of light in the foreground from a streetlight.

    Normally a strike of light at the horizon in the dark. Now clear defined. I always wonder where they are going. Nice shot Andy.

    You caught this train very well. You can see how long it is and speeding in the dark night.

    Terrific capture. I know I've been on passenger trains and there's been a need to pause for a freight train.

    I have traveled on VIA, and had a great trips. I miss passenger trains. Beautiful light in your photo, Andy.

    Superb photograph! That evening light and the street light is perfect! Re your comment on Ocala: Walmart did try banking ... well, they had banks in their stores, but that didn't work out too well. And our Sam's Club is going great guns. I wish we had a Costco, though. I like that store much better than Sam's.
