Closed For The Season

Located in the Port Stanley Harbour on Lake Erie the commercial fishing boats will remain here until the ice breaks up.

    Superb photo. That is a nice commercial rig for sure. The ice doesn't break them up sitting there all winter?

    I use to see whole fleets of commercial fishing boats in Lake Michigan, but they are mostly gone now. Commercial fishing in the Great Lakes is nearly a thing of the past. Good to see at least a few of these boats still exist.

    Looks cold Andy. I have never been around lakes that freeze and can't imagine it. Beautiful photo.
