This was one of those times when I came across the unexpected and bizarre. The Grand Rassemblement is a creation of sculptures mainly made of concrete (the odd one of wood) by the artist Marcel Gagnon, The movement of tides reveals and hides them. Exhibited on the shoreline of the St. Lawrence River in Sainte-Flavie, in the Lower St. Lawrence, Quebec.

The Pointe-au-Père Lighthouse National Historic Site played a primary role in the history of navigation on the St. Lawrence River. The existing lighthouse, built in 1909, is the third to be built on the site. The tower stands 108 feet, with 128 steps to the top.
