ABC Wednesday Letter "G" - Geese

Andy | Wednesday, March 03, 2010 | Best Blogger Tips

This is Fred and Fredetta. That's a name that my wife I gave these two geese. They were regulars feeding off the droppings from my bird feeder in the winter. This is first and only time that I have ever seen geese sitting on a perch What else does "G stand for? Find out at ABC Wednesday

  1. They're so still, i thought they were decoys. And I'm glad they're sitting on the perch, because if they were stand back where I initially thought they were, they'd be HUGE!

  2. How unusual! I've never seen geese perching like that, either! Fun picture!

  3. Love the creative photo. However, unfortunately, when I see these geese in our yard, "G" is for "GO, GET, GO, GO away!" A pound of those green slimy droppings a day is too much!

  6. I laughed at the symmetry of the shot! Great photo. I'm glad they weren't AT the feeder.

  8. Whoa - I've never seen geese perched like that before ... love the symmetry of their poses - they're like a couple of old washerwomen putting the world to rights :)
