Gift Surprise

Andy | Thursday, December 27, 2012 | Best Blogger Tips

My wife and I were asked to take care of our two granddaughter's surprise gifts for a few days before Christmas. We temporarily named this one White Nose.

This one we called Black Nose. The longer we had them the more we were becoming attached to them. Fortunately our granddaughters received the kitties a few days before Christmas. At least we don't have to go far to visit them.

  1. And I thinking were does those names come from. Yes you become very attached to these little fur balls. And they are very content with their more mature staff.

  4. Uh oh. I'd have a hard time giving those up if I had them more than a couple of hours!

  5. Cats spend an amazing about of time asleep, but much of that time is in the form of "cat naps" where they can awake quickly. Black Nose has the brightest green eyes. Like cats just fine, but unfortunately I'm allergic to them.

  7. oh this looks like my first kitten I had when I was 4. I called mine Puss and Boots. The black up her leg like she was wearing boots. She was such a good natured kitten. She loved to be dressed up in a dolls outfit and hat and I took her in my dolls carriage back then for a walk. Honest she laid on her back and loved it.. When she grew up she had so many litters of kittens. She lived a long time after. So nice to see your daughters kittens. Brings back beautiful memories.

  9. I love cats and these two are just adorable. Your granddaughters must be thrilled with them.

I don't know what it is about black and white cats but they always seem to be a bit more mischievous than most cats. I always thought they were just a little bit nuts but then I heard Ellen Degenerous' take on it and she believed them to be particularly intelligent. I think she's right. Of all the black and white cats I've known (about 7), all but one had exceptional spunk. Get ready for fun. :)
