Burrs & The Honey Bee

Andy | Sunday, August 25, 2013 | Best Blogger Tips

not because she labours,
but because she labours for others.

  1. Good ol' St. John got it right. Did you see the Time article on the dangers we face from the decline of the bee? Beautiful photo, Andy!

  2. I see you have taken an dive in the macro world. That means you have a lot more photo opportunities as normal because every picture you should take normally you have now to look at with a loupe and can make hundreds more. Don't make to much flower macro's please. From that the internet is flowing over already. I am curious what you show us next time in macro mode.

    1. I wouldn't say that this is a true macro photo. There's no macro lens involve. I took the last three days worth photos with my 200mm zoom lens. Then again one could still say it's within the definition of macro photography.

  5. Albert Einstein pointed out that if we lose honey bees our civilization is doomed. Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) means about 40% of bee colonies disappear every year. Are we in trouble? Perhaps so. Other people are correct in their comment about your photo. Beautiful!
