I Wanna Be In Movies

Andy | Friday, August 16, 2013 | Best Blogger Tips

I came across this movie shoot happening on the streets of Toronto.
I didn't see any movie stars that I recognized. Judging by the cars parked on the
right hand side I would say they were filming something that took place in the 19040's.

  5. Nice one. Maybe some kind of Gang Mod movie like God Father but God Father was out in the country. I remember being there when that shoot was going on.

  6. I wanta be in the movies! I've seen a few shoots and once was able to watch the day's filming. Great fun. I think this is a gangster movie about a bunch of hoods that fled the US to bring joy to Canada. Well, it could be!

  7. Oops, I was also going to say that green coupe looks a lot like my first car - a 1937 Chevy (only mine was black and a 4-door). Paid $175 for it and bought it from the proverbial little old lady who drove it only on Sundays.

  8. Toronto must be a popular place for movie shoots. I remember seeing a film crew there back in the 90's when I visited once. It turns out what I saw was the filming of some sort of horror movie so I never did see the actual movie. I'm not much for horror movies.

  9. Oh I'd have so asked someone what the movie or tv show was to be called.. or who was in it because working titles do change. I'd be far too curious and then want to see it. Good find.

  10. The Senator would be a perfect place for filming a '40s movie. Love that green car, Andy!

  15. Toronto is a popular place for filming, isn't it? A movie was filmed last year in West Hartford, and I took some photos there, but I don't think the film has been released yet.
