This photo was taken on January 2, 2015. The next day it snowed then it turned into freezing rain.

  1. Do you have snow on the ground now, Andy? We had bare ground on January 2nd too but now we have a thin layer of snow. Often we have snow and you have none or very little even though you don't live very far south of where I live.

    1. There is a very light dusting of snow on the ground. It's the bitter cold that is bugging me.

  2. Always like a bend in the road. A kind of promise to discover more when you go there.

  3. The landscape could be here as well, it looks the same, no snow and very flat. Nice those black trees.

  5. This is another of your photos with all the right elements to make it very special. It could easily be turned into a painting. The eye follows that road down and around the turn into the vanishing point of light. Very well done!

Re your question on Ocala: I doubt they'd take Canadian money. They'd probably take Canadian gold, though!

  7. It was beautiful while it lasted. Bet it is as attractive with light snow, too.

  9. And you wouldn't want to be out there today. I like the diffusion of the sunlight through the clouds

  11. It's beautiful, Andy! We have a sprinkling of snow from yesterday afternoon but it is really cold here in the city too. I hate to go outside! ;-)
