  1. Andy, I had to do a web search on this one. Have never seen a sign like this, but I know of systems like this around here. I could use one this morning, we had snow over night. Tom The Backroads Traveller

  2. Maybe not only in Canada...I know some sidewalks in some cities in the States have "embedded snow melting" systems.

  3. It must work as there is no snow in the picture. Wish my sidewalk has an automatic system. My wife has an automatic system. It's me.

  4. We have none of those around here, although we could have used it last week.

  5. I have to look up this system since I am unfamiliar with it, but it sounds like something Minnesota could use!

  6. I know it's used here and there, and I sometimes wish it was used more here!

  8. Never seen this before. A kind of floor heating in the sidewalk?

  9. I have heard of it...but never have seen it!

  10. I have never seen a sign like this. The words even seem embossed on the ground.

  11. Definitely won't see a sign like this here in Florida!

  12. I always wondered why we didn't have this for our road systems, but I suppose it's either too expensive or impractical at this point.

  13. This is new to me, but then, we never get snow. Still and all, really clever. And must cut down on slip and fall law suits. haha. Happy New Year, Andy.

  14. It should be working when there is really snow and you still can see this sign. Otherwise don't lift the pavement.
