501 Streetcar

Andy | Saturday, March 28, 2015 | Best Blogger Tips

Photographed Aug. 8, 2013. Artist: Allan Bender and John Nobrega of Blinc Studios. Located at Queen St. West and Denison Ave., in The City Of Toronto this mural has been photographed many times, including one by RedPat. The interesting thing I noticed about this mural is that the streetcar doors are on the wrong side. In North America all driving is done on the right hand side of the road and the driver's seat is on the left.

  3. It probably says something about the origins of the person who made the mural.

  7. I see what you mean about the driver. That is a wonderful mural, very realistic. Too bad some thoughtless taggers had to leave their marks.

  10. It's nicely done even if there's artistic license with the driver/door side.
