Thats a real fisher community. Nice they still exist Andy
ReplyDeletePleasant looking cove
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo of the cove. I was born in a small fishing village on Lake Michigan, and the atmosphere of these places always pleases me.
ReplyDeleteI need to put this on my bucket list!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that village looks like photographer's heaven.
ReplyDeleteThis picture looks like heaven to me. The little fishing boat and the weathered wood on the old building sitting there beside the water...what a beautiful place. genie
ReplyDeleteI just ordered the book. Cannot wait to start it. Thanks for the suggestion. genie
ReplyDeleteNice view, I love shots like this!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like such a beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteWhat an fantastic place to be with a camera. Heaven!
Nice!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of the inlet and fishing boat. Did you find a great seafood restaurant in this village? There use to be fishing villages around Lake Michigan, but now they are mostly gone as commercial fishing has dwindled. There is still lots of sport fishing, but that is entirely different.
ReplyDeleteWonderful, Andy! I haven't been to Nova Scotia or Newfoundland - done all the other provinces though.
ReplyDeleteThat's one part of Nova Scotia I haven't gotten to. My parents visited it at one point.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! What a beautiful village! I'm glad to see that the fishery is making a go of it. They're collapsing in a lot of areas.
ReplyDeleteIf this was in b/w, one might even think it was a photo from long ago. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteSuch a genuine fishing spot and a lovely capture of it!!!!
