Nice portrait again and not shooted from the hip.
ReplyDelete...wow '67 was a long time ago!
ReplyDeleteThey deserve to win the cup when the last one was 50 years ago.
ReplyDeleteLove this photo but the fan doesn't seem too happy!
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be so much fun seeing Leafs fans' hearts get ripped out and stomped on yet again sometime in the not that distant future.
ReplyDeleteThat's a long time! Hockey fans seem to be very loyal.
ReplyDeleteThat makes me think of that time I spend in Chicago. Those Chicago people feel the same way about the Cubs!
ReplyDeleteI believe that there the people are just as crazy hockey fans than we do here in Finland (hmmm, not me).
ReplyDeleteThe portrait is really great.
It was a very good year... Another nice "people" shot!
ReplyDeleteWe never give up hope, Andy! And everyone hopes to be able to get a ticket to a game one day too! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe subject of your photo looks like he may have been a fan for 50 years. The Penguins have entertaining game announcers so I don't mind listening while building a puzzle; but watch one or worse, go to one---not. That being said I hope the Maple Leafs go far next season. That's persistence.
ReplyDeleteLooks like he had gone to a few games. Perhaps he was there when the Maple leafs won their last cup?
ReplyDelete"they will pay almost any price to watch their team play." Poorly, watch their team play poorly! A very nice street shot.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing he was probably a young lad the last time they won. It probably hooked him for life.
ReplyDeleteThe man doesn't look too happy but a good capture of his emotions.
