Tune Up

Andy | Tuesday, May 09, 2017 | Best Blogger Tips
I live in a country that has in seasonal climates. Our bicycles typically lie dormant during the cold winter months and resurface in spring. Getting your bike tuned up each spring is a bit like getting regular oil changes on your car.

  1. Good idea. Most people here bike the whole year round. Weather or not.

  4. This is true but I think bike tune-ups are necessary no matter what the climate. In our area, the heat does a lot of damage. $50 is a reasonable charge.

  6. Neat place and sign. My bicycle has been sitting in the shed for over 20 years. Time for it to move on

  7. It's rare to see bikes out in the winter here, though there are some crazy enough to do it.

  8. It's a big country Andy, and in your part bikes might lie dormant in winter, but out here on the left coast I ride mine all year. Might get a little wet, but there's usually no snow to speak of.

  9. That "Two tired" is a very old bicycle joke. While it is good to have a professional look over a bike from time to time, riders should learn to keep their own bikes cleaned and lubricated. They are not difficult to adjust. Nor are flat tires difficult to repair.
