  4. The cold is good for the health, better than the heat wave in any case and I like this photo which honors people who keep going out by any time, which they are young or less young

  5. Well, you got a good picture of this poor woman who probably cannot afford a car or other transportation and she's on her own so she need to get a few groceries so she can eat and survive. Let's just hope she doesn't get pneumonia from an immune system challenged by the fierce cold weather. Oui?

  11. Hi Andy. I could not let your comment on Ocala go unanswered today. It is true that I see more Ontario cars here in the Ocala area every year, but Canadians are still a small part of the snowbird mix. Now, when we lived in the Ft. Lauderdale area, things were different. We had an influx of between 250,000 to 300,000 Canadians every winter, many of them from Quebec. It was funny and strange to walk down the boardwalk along the beach and hear country songs sung in French blaring from the bars and cafes!
