The Toronto Transit Commission's streetcars can carry 251 riders, have sliding doors, air conditioning and low floors to accommodate passengers with mobility devices and strollers.

  3. Very beautiful avenue with heavy traffic. An outdoor photo that gives another idea of the city of Toronto that is most often seen through its large buildings.

  4. I loved riding streetcars in Chicago, but they have not existed for years. I think that is the city's loss. Good think Toronto still have a streetcar system. Minneapolis is in the process of recreating their streetcars.

  6. Streetcars have much improved since the days when I rode them in San Francisco. (But oh, that's a lot of traffic coming your way!)

  7. They are the wonderful descendants of the streetcars and city street trains that were all over the SF Bay Area. They didn't have air conditioning, but they were comfortable.
