Still Standing

The old house is run down and abandoned but someone is keeping the grounds well groomed.

  5. That is a stunning photo! What a perfect setting. The house must have been beautiful in it's day and it is still beautiful in it's decline. I could see your photo on the cover of a book...a mystery of some sort.

  6. That was a fine looking house at one time. Too bad it has been abandoned and left to deteriorate. We can just imagine the life lived here, and the sadness of leaving.

  10. One can feel sad that the house is decomposing, but as Sharon writes (above), it is still beautiful in its decline. Perhaps more so to us pho-toggers.
