Time Change

Andy | Sunday, November 06, 2022 | Best Blogger Tips

Daylight Saving Time came to an end in Ontario today, with residents having to remember to set their clocks back an hour at 2:00 a.m. on November 6. While there has been a huge push for Ontario to cease observing the practice like the Yukon, Hawaii, Arizona, most of Saskatchewan and parts of Quebec and British Columbia that don't move their clocks, New York State and the entirety of Quebec would need to be on board, lawmakers have decided, which doesn't look like it's set to happen anytime soon.

  1. Great shot, Andy. I like the long daylight evenings in the summer on DST.

  2. What wonderful early morning light, Andy. Yes, I am always surprised at how many clocks need to be reset. Just goes to show how our lives are governed by the clock.

  3. I've been hearing this talked about on different news broadcasts. There are many different opinions on the subject. The most recent one I heard said it was healthier for all of us to not adjust time twice a year.

  6. I don't mind falling back. It's like traveling west. Springing ahead is like traveling east. That really messes with me. But I'd rather keep the present situation than change things.

  10. Awesome shot. I so dislike falling back and having it be dark before 5 pm. Makes me less energetic. I love daylight savings and wish we could just leave it that way all year long. Popped in from a mutual friends blog, it's always fun to meet new bloggers.
