Happiness runs in waves, but as I've gotten older, I'm finally realizing the timing between waves is up to me.

B&W Friday

With temperature at -11°C (12°F) and strong winds blowing inshore, this guy in his wetsuit was having ball diving into the waves.

We're Having A Heatwave

...a tropical heatwave.

Rusty Water Tower

Located in Hastings, Ontario the tower is a left over of the Breithaupt Leather Company which operated from 1906 until 1982. This company was credited for keeping the town from ‘going under’ during the Great Depression.

Erosion

Nature is winning.

Frenchman's Bay Marina

The ice has gone and the boats are returning from their winter storage. The Dragon Boats moored in front of "RELIC" is a sure sign that boating season is on the way.

Charles Hunt Dam

In 1853 Charles Hunt purchased land for a flour mill on the Thames River in London Ontario. In 1854, he had begun to construct the City Mills, which were operated by his descendants until 1957. The mill had four stones capable of grinding 123 barrels of flour a day. In 2019 the the mills are gone and the dam is nothing more than a weir to raise the level of water upstream and regulate its flow.

Waterfalls

I highly recommend traveling the Gaspé Peninsula to see some of the best scenery in eastern Canada.
