The Nuclear Power Plant located in Pickering, Ontario began producing power in 1971.
What else does "N" stand for? Find out at ABC Wednesday

  1. What an impressive shot! My father used to design power plants. The specification/regulation book is mind-boggling. Guess that's a good thing.

  2. Years ago I visit the Northern Nuclear Power plant in England... they gave fantastic insites.
Have you been inside this one?

  3. Shows the vast scale of the things, doesn't it?

On behalf of the team, thanks for taking part in ABC Wednesday this week! :)

  4. I forget how many nukes there are, esp. after TMI.

  5. Dragon Lady... Many years ago I went on a tour of the plant. Not sure if they still have them. Things have changed since 911. I know they now have have armed guards. I always wonder when I am in the area with my camera if I am being watched.

  6. Thanks Jay... I enjoy the challenge.

  7. What a vast complex. Quite a contrast to the beautiful, deep blue water.
