  9. These are a particularly beautiful kind of magnolia with the almost feathery petals. Most of them in my town (and we have lots of them - already past bloom) tend to be rather rigid and cup-like.

  10. I do love blossom trees, especially the magnificent Magnolias. Tomorrow I am going to go around town to take photos of our flowering trees in Carlsbad. I had already planned to do this before I read your blog.
