I don't know the purpose of this sign. It's at the roadside beside a farmer's field. There is no house, store or any other building nearby. See more signs at Signs, Signs.

I'm going to guess it means "Slow, farmer at work" or "Slow, farmer crossing on foot" :)
ReplyDeletebanksy in a rural setting?
ReplyDeleteGood one EG.
ReplyDeleteVery unusual. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteit is rather quaint.
ReplyDeleteThat is a real mystery.
ReplyDeletelooks like someone was planning on coloring it, except that they didn't color inside the lines.
ReplyDeleteInteresting sign indeed.
ReplyDeleteit must be a "farmer crossing " sign!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a child had a go at it with crayons, but as it is probably placed high up on the pole, it must have been an adult (with crayons in his pocket??) - or a child with a ladder and crayons? Anyway, nice one! :-)
ReplyDeleteWatch for crossing wheelbarrows? Cool sign, though.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful and mysterious sign. My best guest would be some kind of "watch out for working farmers" kind of sign? It is, however, very unique!
ReplyDeleteA farmer of mystery. It looks as though it has been there for some time. Fascinating.
