With the dark clouds in the background and the sunlight shining below,
I couldn't resist photographing the scene.

    1. It's looks were worse than it's bite. There were lots of these black clouds but just as many pockets of sunlight.

  2. Yeah electricity all around. But you have the feeling something can happen. Not with a deep blue sky. Nice one Andy.

  4. Good title. I know we need these things but I wouldn't live anywhere near them ... bad stuff happens!

  5. It appears my first comment didn't go through.

Looks like lots of electricity in those wires and in those clouds. There are folks who think these power lines pose a dangerous threat to one's health. I wouldn't live near them.

  7. A photo like this says a lot and begs questions. On a windy day if your under a power line it's surprising how far the wires blow to the side and there is a whistle through the wires. Now there's a shot for you to get and while you're at it record the wind "singing in the wires."

  8. Nice one, Andy. Whenever I encounter a sky like this, I seem to be in a place where I can't take a decent photograph.

  9. What a sky! Love that mix of clouds and sunshine, the towers add a perfect somewhat brooding touch...
