I hope there is still a place for those animals. That concrete at the edge doesn't look promising.

ReplyDeleteThis is so sad. All along Florida's east coast beaches these poor things make nests. Unfortunately, the hatchlings see the bright lights and head, not out to see, but toward the lights to get run over by hundreds of thundering vehicles.
ReplyDeleteTurtles are fascinating. A creature that evolved to live on land but went back to the sea, at least partially, like otters and seals, etc.
