International Day of Forests

March 21 is the United Nations’ International Day of Forests, which promotes the importance of forests and trees in our lives. The day addresses issues such as deforestation.

  14. I too wish I had mentioned this date on my blog. We live next to the Kettle Moraine State Forest in Wisconsin...one of my very favorite places to be.
