Last Of The River Ice

When the river ice breaks up it does so in blocks like this. Floating down river they end up in ice jams. The pressure is so great that pieces like this one get pushed up onto the river banks. The ice will remain here until it melts.

    At least you have flowing river that you can see again. I'd count that as progress.
