Collision

Andy | Thursday, May 21, 2015 | Best Blogger Tips

On a bright sunny day I came across this collision aftermath between a motorcycle and a school bus.
Police say blinding glare like this is a lot more common and deadly than most people realize.

On the stretcher the motorcyclist is being moved to the waiting ambulance.
I have no word about the extent of his injuries or his recovery.

  1. To much people close their eyes on the reality of life. We have to cope with it and perhaps find some improvements. Clear shots Andy.

  5. How sad. Blinding glare sure can be dangerous as your photos prove.

  6. These are great "street reporter" shots. I hope he's okay and recovering from the scare nicely.

  7. As an avid motorcyclist who rides daily, I feel bad for the motorcyclist and the bus driver. Both will have their lives changed forever. Sun glare isn't normally something I'm concerned about, but I will add that to my list.

  8. Motorcyclists always come out second best in an accident. This is sad when it happens, but you got good action shots. If your photos were in b&w they could be right up there with Weegee for action and drama.

  9. Yep, I'm thinking about selling my motorcycle. I've pushed my luck far enough.

  10. And as is often the case, the biker comes off the worst for it.
