Originally I was just going to photograph the mural. I changed my mind and included the road work of a major water main replacement. |

I wonder how many giraffes the vet has treated already. A nice bit of chaos here.
ReplyDeleteNice combination, there are no places in cities nowadays where they are not digging in the grounds!
ReplyDeleteMuch more interesting photo. Good eye.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, they do make a mess, don't they? Neat vet mural!
ReplyDeleteAndy, it appears that your part of the world is always under construction.
ReplyDeleteYes. After years of neglect it is catch up time.
DeleteThat mural is fantastic but that road work is hits a little too close to home. There was a water main break on my corner on Tuesday and they are still working on it. It's caused huge traffic problems for the past two days!
ReplyDeleteWell, you broke a cardinal rule of photography which refers to having one main subject of interest, but it turned out to be an interesting photo anyway!
ReplyDeleteGoof call that
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the vet is seeing patients during this upheaval. It's a crazy scene, I like it, especially seeing the orange road closed sign and fence in the foreground. It adds a splash of colour.
ReplyDeleteI agree---- much better because of what you did.
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for that vet!
ReplyDeleteI love the mural!
ReplyDeleteS.C. asked my question. Otherwise, what a mess. It seems that anything that goes underground tends to be forgotten until something goes wrong. It's almost a surprise to see them being proactive with replacement.
ReplyDeleteThe orange road barrier and mural make your photograph. S.C. did ask the first question that occurred to me. Bet the answer is none.
ReplyDeleteI think this shot is more interesting that a shot of only the mural might have been.
