A hard life.
ReplyDeleteHe still got nice shoes. Yes the burden of modern life in the city today.
ReplyDeleteSo sad to look at....
ReplyDeleteCall em beggars here though this poor guy does look down on his luck, more than I can say for some in the UK
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine being in such a situation. And I know all it takes is a few bad breaks. But many of these people have mental illnesses which contributes to their situation. It's a very poignant shot. Cigarettes will kill you but he's probably not too worried about that.
ReplyDeleteCigarettes or money, what a strange choice.
ReplyDeleteAndy, this image tells so many stories. It hurts when you see a homeless person but then you give money and hear "God bless you" and "Thank you" and you feel a little bit better.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very powerful portrait!!!
Sad to see.
ReplyDelete...a tough life.
ReplyDeleteso hard to see this. I never know whether the money is used in a good way or a bad way.
ReplyDeletePainful, Andy!
ReplyDeletethis is so hard for me...i would help them all if i could!!!
ReplyDeletea sad state of affairs....
ReplyDeleteHere where I live, these fellows are employed by a syndicate. It's quite a problem.
ReplyDeleteSo if you gave him a parcel of food he might not take it!
ReplyDeleteVery sad to see.
ReplyDeleteSights like these make me sad. :(
