A bronze monument located in Moncton, New Brunsick featuring life-size statues of Constables Doug Larche, Dave Ross and Fabrice Gevaudan, who were gunned down June 4, 2014 in the line of duty.

The three Royal Canadian Mounted Police Constables were among the police officers who responded to a neighbourhood in the west end of the city following reports of a man with a gun. Justin Bourque walked past civilian residents that he encountered, choosing only to shoot at police. He was captured following a 30-hour manhunt that gripped the city with fear. Bourque is serving a life sentence with no chance of parole for 75 years.

  6. A sad commentary that there needs to be a memorial for these fallen officers. The statues are well executed, but is is still a sad sight.

  15. I hate to read these things, and I hate to think that Canada is becoming infected with the same gun insanity that the USA suffers with.
